There are some moments in life that are just too precious to let slip by — the missing front teeth smile, the sweet curls at age four, or that unmistakable sibling bond that makes you laugh every time you see it. These are the moments worth remembering, and that’s exactly what my Heirloom Portrait Sessions are all about.
Why Heirloom Portraits?
Think of heirloom portraits as a modern twist on a classic tradition. They’re timeless, elegant, and designed to look beautiful in any home — today and fifty years from now. These portraits aren’t just for now; they’re for generations to come. Imagine your children (and even grandchildren!) looking back at these portraits one day, seeing themselves in the same frames that hung proudly in your home. It’s the kind of keepsake that never goes out of style.
My Style
I keep things simple and classic. Every session is photographed against a soft white background, with a clean and minimal setup. The focus stays right where it belongs — on your child’s expressions, personality, and those little details you never want to forget. Simple setups have a magic of their own: no distractions, no trendy props that might look dated in a few years — just timeless, beautiful portraits that will always feel fresh.
What to Expect at Your Session
Sessions usually last between 20–40 minutes (depending on how much cooperation your little one decides to give us that day — parents, you know what I mean!). I’ll guide you on outfit choices beforehand, so you won’t be left wondering what looks best.
All sessions are indoors — either at my home studio here in Elizabethtown, NC, or at your home if that’s more comfortable. If we travel beyond 20 miles, there’s just a small mileage fee of $0.40 per mile.
The Final Product
Your heirloom portraits are delivered as high-resolution, fully edited digital images, perfect for sharing or storing away safely. But the magic doesn’t stop there — I also offer high-quality prints, albums, and wall art, so you can display your portraits in a way that fits your home and style. Whether it’s a classic framed print for grandma’s living room or a stunning wall piece for your hallway, your portraits are meant to be seen and enjoyed every day.
Ready to Create Your Family’s Heirloom?
These portraits are more than just pictures — they’re a gift to your children, and to their children one day. If you’ve been thinking about investing in timeless portraits that will always have a place in your home, I’d love to capture them for you.
